REFERENCING AND FORMATTING GUIDE
Authors should ensure that manuscripts are correctly formatted and referenced. Please note that SW/MW adheres to the APA 7th edition for referencing.

This guide assists authors with following the correct rules and methods for standard United Kingdom English. This will aid authors in ensuring that their manuscripts are professionally written and in line with Social Work/Maatskaplike Werk’s language and formatting requirements.

SUBMISSION DETAILS FORM
This form must be completed by corresponding authors when the manuscript is initially submitted for consideration. Manuscripts submitted without this form will not be considered and will consequently delay the process.

PUBLISHING AGREEMENT
All authors need to sign the publishing agreement once the article has been provisionally accepted and is in the copyediting phase. The agreement serves as a contract between SW/MW and the authors, outlining aspects around the license to publish, copyright ownership, representations and warranties, article processing charges and governing Laws.
